Two Oakdale Athletes Sign College Commitments

Two athletes from Oakdale High School made their futures evident last week, as they officially signed letters of intent and celebrated their commitment to attend colleges across the country for their sport. Nov. 12 marked the first day that high school seniors could sign scholarship papers for the following sports: baseball, basketball, golf, lacrosse, softball, swimming, tennis, volleyball, water polo (girls only), track & field and wrestling. The letter of intent is a binding agreement between the student-athlete and a college, by which the student-athlete agrees to attend the college for one academic year.

The following student-athletes signed as part of the NCAA National Letter of Intent Signing Day:

  • Jackie McNulty- Signed with Stanford for Track and Field
  • Abby Stultz- Signed with Penn State for Track and Field

Congratulations to both athletes on advancing your academic and athletic careers at the next level.  All of us at DigitalSports wish you luck!

What is your most memorable high school moment?

As students prepare to graduate high school, they often begin to feel overwhelmed by thoughts of change. After all, this is the point in their lives when they realize they will be moving on, leaving friends and family to begin a new phase of life. After the initial feelings of fear and anxiety pass, students become excited to find out what the future holds.

Write about it.
